Budapest, Hungary – The Castle District

Mastering a few hundred meters above the river Danube, the Castle District in Budapest is a special place. Surrounded Gothic churches with stained glass, a visit to the Castle District is like stepping back in the Renaissance.
Castle District
Located in the section of Buddha, the Castle District is on the eastern side of the Danube. Placed a couple of hundred meters above the Danube, the entire city of Budapest can be seen in multiple views. The view is so amazing, that the Italians coined a saying: “Europe has three gems in the water -. Venice, Florence, in the plains and hills of Buda” The Italians definitely got it right.
Buda Castle
Visit the Buda Castle is like stepping back in the high Renaissance. The castle is decorated with red marble stairways, gothic facades, bastions and epic statutes overlooking the Danube. The sources of the castle, just can not describe in words.
Holy Trinity Square
Just south of Buda Castle is the Holy Trinity Square. The Church of the Holy Virgin, who is also known as Matthias Church, dominates the square. The church has served as the place where the kings of Hungary launched its government and various famous people are buried in the ground.
Behind Matthias Church is the Fishermen’s Bastion is quite interesting. This Roman stronghold looks like a mini-castle in Disneyland. The view from the parapets are incredible as you take on the Danube River as it cuts through Budapest. Just outside of Bastion, however, you have to keep an eye out for something amazing.
Hungarians have historically been some of the best riders in the world. As part of the tradition, the rider wears whip instead of strings. Bulls great whips. And they like crack in the edge of the bastion. If you’re not paying attention when this happens, the stronger pressure of the world sent scare “you know what” out of you. The only thing that can match the sound of thunder, but without the phone. When this happens, the drinks, food and cameras go flying.
